- When I was little, I thought the leotard was named after me. I'm directionally challenged except for politics, where I always turn left. I will talk about bodily functions during dinner with no problem. I'm 26, and two years ago, I did the boldest thing I've ever done: I picked up and moved to New York City, leaving behind a great job and countless friends to pursue independence, confidence, and maybe a pair of designer jeans. I want to stay in touch with the people I love and remember the stories that bring tears to my eyes (both good and bad). Thus, a blog was born.

Leah...I assume that is your name, have you ever heard Don Imus? I think you would be very surprised to find out, he also, leans very much to the left, much to the media's reporting of his right-wing, conservatism. On his daily radio/TV show, he has, as his regular guests/commentators, Sean Hannity, Mary Matalin, Pat Buchanan, Laura Ingrams, not to mention scores of other right leaning talking heads. He also has, as regular guests on the show such people as, Paul Begala, James Carville, Michael Beschloss, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Debra Dickerson, Carl(2 questions)Jefferson, THE LEGENDARY DICK GREGORY!, Barbara Walters, Craig Crawford, Brian Williams, Bob Schieffer, Jim Lehrer, etc. I would urge you to listen to/watch his show, before pronouncing judgements on which something, you obviously don't have a clue about. Listen/watch the show, then blog about your opinions...until then, you can't judge unless you have accumulated enough info!
I appreciate the input, and I feel strongly that no one should be censored the way he was. Just because I have found him in poor taste and ignorant (and yes, I have listened to him) doesn't mean that he shouldn't be allowed to say it. I get to say what I want on my blog, and he gets to say what he wants on his airwaves. At least we can all agree on that.
